August 22
Arlington-Lexington (Massachussets, USA)
One of my favourite runs in the Boston area. It is the route I have run the most when I'm here, must have run this around 15 times now. It follows the Minuteman Bikeway, passing Arlington Meadows and taking a lap around Lexington Battle Green. This is not the whole run, which was nearly 12km, I stopped camera when returning past Arlington Meadows.

This also begins by following the Minuteman Bikeway, but in the opposite direction, to Alewife, then Concord Avenue down to Cambridge Common. I then cross through Harvard Yard and on to Oxford Street. From Porter Square I take Mass. Ave all the way back up past Arlington Centre. (Camera battery dropped out with around another 10 minutes of real-time running remaining).

September 1
This run starts on Mass Ave in Arlington, but then takes a steep ascent on Quincy Street and runs to the top of the hill, with great distant views of Boston, then down to Belmont centre. Running under the railway track, I take a left on Concord Avenue all the way to Fresh Pond, cover some of the paths there then pause camera. Starts again on Minuteman Bikeway and includes beautiful Spy Pond.

 September 3
This is a spectacular route, which I started running last year. Starting in Arlington I take the Minuteman Bikeway to Alewife, then to Cambridge Common, where I turn the camera on. (You can see this first part of the route above on the August 23 run.) I then run through Harvard Square, onto Memorial Drive and run along the Charles River to Mass Ave bridge when I cross. Running along the beautiful Esplanade, I  cross the Charles again via the Longfellow Bridge, ending at the Kendal Red Line station.
